About Melissa

Melissa is a licensed and certified Speech-Language Pathologist by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) in Florida. She was awarded her Bachelor of Professional Studies in Communication Sciences and English in 2009 from the University of Memphis, and Master of Communication Disorders in 2014 from the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Prior to her career in Speech-Language Pathology, Melissa was a social worker assisting children and families in need of support. Since completing graduate school, she has worked as a Speech-Language Pathologist in New Orleans public charter schools and now serves clients in a pediatric private practice setting.  Melissa specializes in the following areas:
